About Kathi
Kathi Gatlin (D.Min.) founded Boldly Loved and co-founded The Companioning Center to bring together two of her greatest passions: spiritual formation and contemplative teaching. At the heart of her ministry is a simple, profound joy: walking alongside individuals and groups as they discover what it means to rest deeply in God’s love, reframe their understanding of the Divine, and deepen their relationship with God.
As a spiritual director, supervisor, and educator, Kathi hosts a compassionate, contemplative, and evocative space. She trusts that each person carries inner wisdom. Together, she companions directees and peer groups in cultivating a sacred "three-way listening"—attuning deeply to self, God, and community.
Kathi lives in Magnolia, Texas, where she finds delight in writing, long walks in nature, and leisurely conversations over coffee. Beyond individual direction and group supervision, she facilitates spiritual formation cohorts, speaks at retreats, and mentors leaders.

Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Leadership and Spiritual Formation — Portland Seminary
Master of Education (M.Ed.) — George Fox University
Certificate in Spiritual Direction — Portland Seminary
Certificate in Spiritual Direction Supervision — Together in the Mystery
Compassion-Based Spiritual Direction (CBSD) — Trained by Frank Rogers, incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) for inner healing and self-compassion
Format, Frequency & Scheduling
Meeting Format: Direction and supervision sessions are available virtually via Zoom or over the phone.
Frequency: Sessions are typically spaced three to four weeks apart, allowing spaciousness to reflect and process your journey between gatherings.
